Tuition Fees

Starting from the academic year 2025/2026, non-EU/EEA citizens are required to pay tuition fees at OsloMet. The tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic year vary depending on the specific program:

  • International Development, Education, and Sustainabilities: 207,000 NOK per year

IELTS Requirements

    Application Process for International Students

    For the 2026 academic year, the application timeline for non-EU/EEA applicants is as follows:

    • Application Portal Opens: October 15, 2025

    General Admission Requirements

    • Academic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Specific academic requirements may vary depending on the chosen program.
    • English Language Proficiency: Non-native English speakers must provide proof of proficiency. Accepted tests and minimum scores include:
      • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0, with at least 6.0 in each component (listening, reading, speaking, and writing).
      • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 80, with at least 20 in each component.
      • PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 62, with at least 62 in each component.

    Test results must be verifiable online or sent directly from the test center.

    Additional Considerations

    International students are advised to begin the application process well in advance to ensure all requirements are met timely. It's also essential to prepare for living expenses in Norway, which can be relatively high compared to other countries. Unfortunately, OsloMet does not currently offer any scholarships or loans for international students.
